Windows 10's Smart Home Secret

When TIME magazine released its article about "Microsoft's Big Secret", who would of guess it would be a way to unify IoT smart home devices?

For those who don't understand the importance of this innovation, allow us to put this into perspective: until now most smart home devices have worked seperately. At best, only devices of the same brand have worked together. However with Windows 10's feature "AllJoyn" developed by the AllSeen Alliance encourages devices to be interoperable and could be what really brings IoT into the mainstream home.
