Google Home Plugs into Your Calgary Smart Home
Soon after the release of Weave - Google's new coding language that allows other devices to speak to devices such as the NEST thermostat - Google has announced that its Google Home now works directly with a number of devices such as Belkin's WeMo.
As stated by CNET - "Weave will soon connect devices by Belkin, Lifx, Honeywell, Wink, TP-Link, and First Alert. This is important news, considering Google Home's partnerships were so meager at its release -- limited to Nest, SmartThings, Philips Hue and IFTTT."
This could mean that soon, many modern smart homes in Calgary could have the backing of one of the world's largest and most successful tech companies.
